NOTE: The horns and sunshades are not on the models as they are packaged in a small parts bag and have to be installed by the modeler.

The U18B locomotive was the eight-cylinder, branch line road switcher, manufactured by GE in 1973-1975. The new InterMountain HO model faithfully replicates the multiple details of the prototype. The Maine Central version is decorated in the Harvest Gold and dark green colors, with the gold eagle image on the nose. Fine details include etched metal grilles and radiator sections, along with metal grab irons and coupler lift bars. The model is equipped with the smooth, powerful InterMountain drive and  and optional DCC / sound.
