Our new WWII War Emergency Boxcar, represents the prototype 40 ft. 6 in. inside length, 10 ft. 6 in. inside height car, built from 1943-1944. This version, decorated for the Nickel Plate Road, has the Superior side door. The car is boxcar red, with black ends, and white lettering. The car is equipped with metal wheelsets and Kadee® couplers.
